Our Care Process
  • Referral: A patient is referred to the clinic by their primary care physician, a psychiatrist, a therapist, or self-referral.

  • Intake and Assessment: An initial psychiatric evaluation includes obtaining a comprehensive family history, health history, and psychiatric history, along with a description of your current symptoms. Lab work or further testing may also be ordered/reviewed at this visit. Upon completing your history, a diagnosis and treatment plan will be determined. This may last up to 90 minutes.

  • Treatment Planning: Based on the assessment, a treatment plan is developed in collaboration with the patient. This plan may include psychotherapy, medication management, and/or other interventions.

  • Medication Management and follow-up: Regular assessments are conducted to track the patient’s progress, re-evaluate treatment goals, and adjust the treatment plan as needed. For patients who require medication, the nurse practitioner provides ongoing evaluation, prescription management, and monitoring for potential side effects.
